This year we have 15 fantastic new Playground Leaders from Year 6 who organise and encourage the younger children to be active at lunchtime. The children take part in fun and active games as well as termly challenges, to compete against other schools.

To be a Playground Leader, the children had to write a persuasive letter as to why they would be suitable for the role. Once selected, the children took part in some training with School Games to develop the skills needed such as how to set up games for large and small groups and how to work together and to communicate ideas.

These lunchtime activities are proving very popular!
